ReplyDeleteI read Choclatier Magazine in 1984 when my sales and marketing department at Harper & Row Publishers subscribed. I spotted Helen Gurley Brownies, and have been baking them ever since. I somehow misplaced the recipe and they were not turning out like they should have been, so I Googled, and here I am. I, too, married in 1984, a time when life moved a lot slower. I never could have guessed I would go looking for that recipe thirty years later on something called the internet.
